Glassgreen Medical Centre, Elgin

NHS Grampian/ Springfield Properties

Completed in September 2009, this new medical facility forms part of the Southfield Masterplan on the south side of Elgin. It is reportedly the largest building of its type in North East Scotland, measuring 2627 sq.m and incorporating a 12 consulting room medical practice with treatment suite, a dental practice with 3 surgeries, an 8 consulting room mental health unit, a 3 treatment room speech and language therapy unit, a community health professionals wing incorporating physiotherapy, podiatry, dieticians, ADL Kitchen, general consulting and district & community nursing, a suite of offices for Moray Council social services and a retail pharmacy.

The external finishes comprise a mix of smooth white render, cedar cladding and mill finished aluminium. Internally the crisp colour scheme and high quality finish, with matching furniture &, bespoke signage, results in a fully co-ordinated interior, that is both attractive and welcoming.
